Questions Answered

How much do you charge if the customer doesn't pay?

If we have completed the collection process and have not collected money on the account you pay: Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. Zilch.

What is your complaint policy?

Frankly, complaints are a waste of time and effort for both us and our clients. Not only do they cause ill will between our clients, their customers, and CAC/NAB, but the account is rarely resolved. Operating under the following policy has prevented our company from ever being sued.

  • We are a no complaint agency. We collect our accounts in accordance with the FAIR DEBT COLLECTIONS PRACTICES ACT, PUBLIC LAW 95-109 and are implementing changes the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau passed ant that are set to begin in November 2021.

  • The Collections Manager will document each complaint and follow up with the collector, client, and debtor. They will also be responsible for resolving the problem to the satisfaction of the client.

  • The Collections Manager will review each complaint with the negotiator involved and a plan will be implemented to correct the problem on a case-by-case basis.

  • Continued complaints or blatant violations of the PL 95-109 or CFPB Regulation F are grounds for disciplinary action, including dismissal of the negotiator.

Your collection agency has really been in business for 29 years and you've never been sued?

It's true. Our industry has a bad reputation and we're proving everyone wrong. It feels awesome.

How do your negotiators manage to create a good relationship with debtors when everyone hates bill collectors?

Most collection companies have a high turnover rate, leaving the average collector with little experience and reduced expectations from their management. Our company has a low turn-over rate because we train our collectors in negotiation, a dynamic and exciting skill that when well done leads to satisfaction for everyone. We invest in our collectors, setting them up for success, and when people do well at their job they tend to be more professional and stick around.

Our company and all collectors are licensed by the State of Minnesota and bonded for your protection.
